DeltaSQL Celebrates First Successful Peak

Last year we announced that VeriStitch was moving to Microsoft SQL Server as our database to improve system reliability and availability. Since then, DeltaSQL has made its debut on the production floors of some of our customer sites including our largest site at the premier specialty retailer of home furnishings in the United States. We're happy to report that DeltaSQL performed without a hitch in one of the busiest production floors in the industry.

All of this came with quite some effort in 2008, including the initial port of the existing product to SQL Server, followed by beta testing, and finally finishing up with stress testing to flush out any insufficiencies in the overall database design. The effort paid off with flawless performance of the system during retail peak 2008. So far, DeltaSQL is at work only at a few of our customer sites, but our goal for 2009 is to move all existing support customers to DeltaSQL as soon as practical. All new development is now focused on DeltaSQL and our earlier versions of the product have been moved to maintenance-only mode.
