Reducing the Steps to Get a Pattern to the Production Floor

Some of our embroidery machine network customers date back to the days when Compucon punching/editing software was a requirement for getting a pattern loaded into Delta. At that time, Delta accepted only a Compucon native file (*.XXX) as its import file format. What you may not know is that, for some years now, Delta has had its own file import converter options available to allow you to import from virtually any punching/editing software your digitizers may be using.

Recently, at one of our earliest Delta installations, we took on a project to streamline their pattern import process by eliminating Compucon as an intermediate step between their digitizers and Delta. VeriStitch was able to put in a Wilcom conversion option that imports *.T03 files directly into Delta and also automatically builds the thumbnail reference graphic used by Delta as a visual representation of the pattern. We also provided a solution that automatically inserts the ending color change required by Barudan machines in patterns that don't already have one. The end result of this project was a huge cost-savings to the customer because of a streamlined path from digitizing to the production floor.
